ALROSA says sells $8.2 mln of diamonds at auction in Israel
MOSCOW, Jul 12 (PRIME) -- Russian diamond mining giant ALROSA has sold diamonds with a weight of 10.8 carats worth U.S. $8.2 million at an auction held in Israel, the company said in a statement on Friday.
The company sold 82 gem-quality diamonds with a total weight of 1,422 carats.
Companies from Israel, Belgium, India, the UAE, Russia, the U.S. and Hong Kong took part in the auction.
The company plans to hold two more auctions for special-weight diamonds in Israel in 2019.
